Catholic Relief Services (CRS) helps poor and disadvantaged people around the world; first with direct assistance, then by establishing programs to help them attain self-sufficiency and greater prosperity. The CRS Fair Trade Program focuses on programs to assist some of the world's most impoverished farmers. For all these reasons, Larry's Beans is delighted to join forces with CRS to get out the word about Fair Trade and to offer even more help to small farmers.
Look for our CRS Coffee blends in the shopping section of our web site. When you buy the specific CRS blends (available May 2005) you are purchasing coffee from specific farmers in the CRS Fair Trade Program. And, since all of Larry's coffee is Fair Trade, that means that any coffee purchase you make from Larry's empowers family farmers throughout the world.
If you want to share your information with the CRS Fair Trade program so they can put you on their email list of interested parties and prospective contributors -- then we'll direct 2% of ALL your purchase to CRS.
